5 Sentidos Madrecuixe

$118.99

Eduardo Pérez and his father Tio Tello produced this batch at his their family’s small palenque in El Nanche, Oaxaca. Eduardo and his father Eleuterio harvest exclusively mature agave and maintain a tradition of hand mashing that is essentially lost in the region of Miahuatlan. The soil and the well water is quite rich in calcium in Miahuatlan, which lends to mineral notes on the palate. The palate is a delicate balance of pine, peanut butter, walnuts and a balanced mineral finish.
